In times when costs are not such an important issue, shipping several boats around the world is routine. We are not living in routine times ! However, as the same equipment will be used for all Waterski athletes throughout this season, the playing field remains a level one for all. In the coming days, the much anticipated final list of qualified Skiers will be announced for the first 2009 World Cup Stop at Dubna Russia scheduled for next weekend. It has been a very tough battle to secure a slot as the level of World Cup competition for places is higher than ever. This Stop will feature Jump and Shortboard for both Men and Women. We have just been informed that Shortboard / Trick specialist, Russell Gay USA has suffered a late injury and cannot now travel. We wish him a speedy recovery and hope to see him back on the water at our Putrajaya Malaysia World Cup Stop later this year.
