Just a few minutes ago at the last Stop of the 2008 MasterCraft ProTour in California, World Cup star Karina Nowlan (AUS) scored 1 buoy on the 10.25m line / 41 off to tie the World Slalom Record set back in September 1996 by Kristi Overton Johnson (USA). The fact that she reached the 10.75m line/ 39 off three times on the same day gives a clear indication that we may well see a new World Record as soon as the water conditions allow.
