WORLD CUP STARS TAKE ON CHALLENGE OF WORLD WATERSKI CHAMPIONSHIPS IN CALGARY

ANOTHER BIG CHALLENGE FOR OUR WORLD CUP ATHLETES Right now here in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, the flights are delivering some very talented athletes to the Calgary area. Yes, it is time once again to take on the challenge of our biennial World Waterski Championships. While we have just completed 26 World Cup Stops, our World Championships only come around every two years. Having just completed our Dubna Russia World Cup Stop, there is now time for our World Cup Stars to take on the Calgary Worlds before we get back on the road again with our next World Cup Stop in Liuzhou China. Ageliki Andriopoulou GREWho will take the titles of World Champion in Calgary ? Our World Cup Stars are certainly very high on the “probables” list. WORLD CUP STARS GET IN THE SPIRIT AT THE CALGARY WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS

CHALLENGING WET START TO THE 2009 CALGARY WATERSKI WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS AT PREDATOR BAY WSC IN ALBERTA CANADA The past 24 hours here in Calgary have reminded us all that we are indeed involved in an outdoor sport ! Once the official Practice time ended on Monday evening in reasonably good weather conditions, all were settling in to the prospect of a warm week ahead. The site is magnificent, the organization is first class and the entertainment for the athletes and officials last night at Calgary’s Lynnwood Ranch set a very friendly tone. Seeing our Skiers in Cowboy hats and enjoying the Square Dance routines certainly helped to settle the nerves. Now that our successful Dubna Russia World Cup Stop has been completed, we are now likely to see many of the World Championships titles captured by our World Cup stars – and we will bring you all that news here over the week.
