WORLD CUP STAR NATALIA HEADLINES YET AGAIN !

NATALIA BERDNIKAVA ENDS PERFECT YEAR WITH MORE PERFECTION !

Natalia has a new Pending World Jump Record

Natalia has a new Pending World Jump Record

Now that our 2011 WORLD CUP season has come to an end, it adds even more to the fun when one of our great WORLD CUP Stars catches the international headlines yet again. This has been an extraordinary year for Natalia Berdnikova from Belarus. ‘AND HER BIRTHDAY IS ON NOVEMBER 29th !

‘But first, here is a little Jump history …….

The Women’s World Jump Record has been broken 34 times over the past 46 years. The first official World Jump Record was set back in 1965 by Liz Allen USA at 30.7m. To push it over 40m took another 16 years when Sue Lipplegoes AUS scored 41.0m. Strangely, it took yet another 16 years to break the 50m mark when Brenda Nicholls Baldwin USA made history with 50.5m. Within four years Elena Milakova RUS pushed it over 55m with 55.1m. Then last year, June Fladborg DEN achieved a life long dream with a new World Record of 57.1m – and that still stands today.

This week, Natalia Berdnikova BLR may have made history yet another time. On October 26th, on Lake Grew at US Waterski HQ, she scored a new pending World Jump Record of 57.4m – just 0.3m ahead of June’s 57.1m. If this sticks, it will bring an outstanding conclusion to Natalia’s 2011 season – US Masters Jump Gold, World Championships Jump Gold, Malibu Open Jump Gold and World Cup Linyi Stop Jump Gold. As both June and Natalia have many global World Cup fans, all eyes will be on these two great Stars once again in 2012.

Roll on World Cup 2012  – and HAPPY BIRTHDAY NATI  !
