With over 500,000 spectators in attendance at the extraordinary and unforgetable water and fireworks Liuzhou City Opening Ceremony and 28 TV Stations providing live TV coverage for 800+ million viewers, this exposure for our sport in such a vibrant market as China, was an experience to remember for all who were lucky enough to be there. We do hope that we can help Liuzhou City to show the World what it has to offer as a major Watersports and Tourist venue over the coming five years. Our Skiers and Riders will certainly do everything possible to support our generous hosts and adventurous sponsors. As with so many of our natural river sites around the world, it is clear that those athletes who adapt best to the various conditions, eventually make it to the World Cup Podium. In Liuzhou City, it was Jumpers Freddy Krueger USA and Marie Vympranietsova BLR, plus Riders Phillip Soven USA and Raimi Merritt USA, who were the most successful  of all in figuring out how best to cope with some backwash. At other venues we have had wind, typhoons, cold and even rain challenges. Not surprisingly, the best rise to the top nomatter what the challenge and this is one of the great aspects of our World Cup series. Having successfully completed 28 Stops to date, who knows what challenges may lie ahead ! You can follow all the exciting moments here on our World Cup Web site.
