LIOR SOFER ISR TAKES ATHLETES OATH

Recent stormy weather disappeared and hot sunshine arrived exactly on time for the enormous Shanghai World Cup Opening Ceremony today. The presentations included Fashion Shows, Music, Video Screens – and of course the introduction of athletes from FORTY countries which was another record for the World Cup Series.

Lior Sofer ISR and Steph Caller GBR  took the Oath on behalf of the Athletes and Officials and then led all back along the beach for the first day of competition. Day One, Friday, will see the first phase of the Cableski Jump event and Day Two, Saturday, will introduce the Cable Wakeboard Heats – with Sunday being Finals Day.
