WORLD CUP SEASON CHAMPIONS NAIL TWO WORLD RECORDS

OUTSTANDING PERFORMANCES FROM WORLD CUP STARS FREDDY KRUEGER AND CLEMENTINE LUCINE – ONCE AGAIN !

The World Cup is very fortunate to have two such talented athletes. The example which they have each set in their careers both on and off the water is exceptional. Now they have both raised the bar even higher. This will make our 2009 World Cup season even more exciting !

World Record approval for Freddy Krueger

FREDDY KRUEGER USA – Having dominated the 2008 World Cup season on the Jump Ramp in both Dubna Russia and Putrajaya Malaysia, he somehow also managed to set a new World Jump Record at the McCormicks Fall Classic in Florida – and this new World Record of 72.5m has just received approval from the IWSF. Also the defending Masters Jump Champion at Callaway Gardens, Georgia, USA, he will return to the Jump Ramp next week to try to push the limits even further before he once again takes up the World Cup challenge of 2009. Congratulations from all the World Cup team to Freddy.

Clementine now has THREE Pending World Records

Clementine now has THREE Pending World Records

CLEMENTINE LUCINE FRA – This is one of the greatest overall athletes ever seen on the World Cup circuit. Not only did she capture the 2008 World Cup season titles in both Slalom amd Shortboard, she also achieved THREE World Record performances over the past year. Two were set at 8840 points and in this past week at Ski Paradise in the USA, she pushed this even further to 8930 points. In a recent World Cup video interview, she expressed a hope to someday reach that magical 9000 points mark. While Clementine waits for IWSF approval of these pending World Records, who knows, she may even get to that next target !  Congratulations Clementine from all the World Cup team.
