WORLD CUP STARS ON EARLY WORLD CUP INSPECTION VISIT

SOME WORLD CUP STARS ARRIVE EARLY FOR PUTRAJAYA INSPECTION

Putra Jaya Site Inspection

Putra Jaya Site Inspection

It may look cool out there on the water here in Putrajaya Malaysia but it is 32C / 94Fh. right now and the forecast is for the same every day for the next six months !  The Central Heating bill will be low.

With the second last World Cup Stop of 2008 just over one week away, all the final preparations have just about been completed. Checking out the site yesterday on their way to Kaohsiung in Taiwan for the World Games 2009 test event were Kyle Eade NZL, Clementine Lucine FRA, Ageliki Andriopoulou GRE, Jimmy SIemers USA, Ryan Dodd CAN, Boat Driver Ian Campbell GBR, Olaf Boettcher GER and our local World Cup Stop organiser Hanifah Yoong.

A new Hotel has been constructed on site and the very first guests to stay there will be our international Waterski World Cup Stars. Constructed right on the water, it looks very, very impressive indeed.

The other competitors will arrive from 14 countries around the world in the coming days – and then the serious battle for 2008 World Cup titles will begin in earnest.  This will be the last JUMP Stop of the season and when Mr Freddy Krueger USA and Mr Jaret Llewellyn CAN make their way to the dock just over a week from now, others are going to have to fight very hard to be in those last places off the dock in the Sunday Finals.  Don’t miss the Ladies battle also as Ageliki Andriopoulou GRE has a World Jump Champion title to her credit and June Fladborg DEN is certain to see this as a great chance to finish her year on a real high. The great thing about this final Jump Stop of the World Cup series is that NOBODY has the clear advantage – ask Ryan Dodd CAN, Jimmy Siemers USA, Clementine Lucine FRA or Anais Amade FRA and others. One slip and some real surprises are possible at this level before we get to the World Cup Podium.

THERE WILL BE A LIVE WEBCAST OF THIS 25th WORLD CUP STOP SO GET THE SUN TAN LOTION OUT, CRANK UP YOUR CENTRAL HEATING BACK HOME IF YOU LIVE IN THE NORTHERN HEMISPHERE AND GET READY FOR SOME GREAT ACTION IN SLALOM, SHORTBOARD AND JUMP. This 25th World Cup Stop is guaranteed to be a thriller.

For your link to the LIVE Webcast, just follow the instructions here on this site in the coming days.
